Passion for our mission and vision is required! As part of a hardworking, passionate and accomplished team of diverse experts, you will participate in the development of space launch vehicles. As an Administrative Assistant for New Glenn, you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Executive Support - Work closely and effectively with leadership and their team to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Exercise good judgment while maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
- Calendar - Manage an active calendar of meetings, reviews and appointments. Plan, coordinate and ensure the schedule is followed and respected. Provide gatekeeper and gateway role, creating win-win situations for direct access to executives.
- Travel - Arrange complex, detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas. Complete expense reports.
- Tasks - Successfully complete tasks and critical aspects of deliverables.
- Projects - Work independently on projects, from conception to completion, under pressure at times, handling a wide variety of activities with confidentiality and discretion.
- Budget Ownership – Manage and maintain annual site morale budget and lead the site employee engagement team.
- Community Engagement – Represent the site lead to coordinate with community organizations and local parties including government agencies, club for the future, university etc.
- Construction Liaison – Act as the internal/external point of contact for all office expansion and construction projects.
- Customer Engagement – Facilitate and lead customer event engagement as requested in support of contract customer activities across New Glenn, including occasional travel
- Organization – Using strong organizational skills, perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. Prioritize conflicting needs. Handle matters expeditiously and proactively, following through on requirements to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
- Personnel – Using strong interpersonal skills, build relationships with stakeholders.
- Problem Solving - Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
- Work collaboratively with admin peers, be a resource and a team player.

- 6+ years of administrative experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and high customer service capabilities and delivery
- Administrative skills, organizational skill and problem-solving skills. A bias for action.
- Emotional maturity; positive, low-stress behavior, in words and actions
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
